Location – Jimmie B. Keel Regional Library 2902 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618 (Carrolwood) ROOM D

10:00 am – 10:30 Introductions approval of schedule/ choose facilitator & time keeper

10:30 – 11:00 Treasurer, secretary, co-chair reports

11:00 – 11:30 Local reports

11:30 – 12:15 workshop – John Henry – Manager from an electronic recycling business in Tampa. We encourage you to bring along any old or broken electronics, cell phones, etc. – better than land fill – here’s his contact number if you have questions (813) 463-0079 – You can arrange a Sunday tour of the facility.

12:15 – 1:00 lunch on your own

1:00 pm – 1:45 skype from POTUS candidates and Elijah Manley presentation

1:45 – 2:30 – workshop – Organizing locals and outreach to nearby counties.

2:30 – 3:15 workshop – TBA

3:15 – 4:00 workshop – TBA

4:00 – 4:45 workshop – TBA

4:45 – 5:00 closing plans

Sunday, June 5th

Location – Dome Auditorium at the John F Germany Public Library 900 N Ashley Dr, Tampa, FL 

12:30 pm – 1:15 voting rules

1: 15 – 2:30 meet the candidates for state offices/ nominations

2:30 pm – 3:15 meet candidates for GPUS committees & delegates/ nominations

3:15 – 4:00 – Voting

4:00 – 4:45 – View the results of POTUS voting so far plans going forward. Adjourn


5:00 pm – 6 pm – Dinner and after meeting at Cafe Hey (1540 N Franklin St, Tampa, FL ) New co-chairs, Treasurer and Secretary should get together with old co-chairs to plan upcoming year.


  1. Could the Green Party embrace a Communist or Socialist economic model included in its platform?

    1. The Greens are a coalition of many representations of the left and center. At our core, we are a party of values (like the 10 Key Values) but we have a wide variety of tendencies that aim to accomplish our message. To some degree, many socialists have come to embrace our message of sustainability. Most notably, an ‘ecosocialist’ tendency is emerging (which is quite instructive if you come from a deep socialist tendency).
